A reminder to RC33 paper presenters at the ISA 2010 congress


The preparation of the Programme for the XVII ISA World Congress of Sociology, 11-17 July 2010, Gothenburg, Sweden is at an advanced stage and includes more then 900 sessions.

We would like to update you with some useful information for you. 


Please note that May 4, 2010 is the deadline for: 

  1. Registration for programme participants (presenters, chairs, discussants, etc.). If not registered your names will not appear in the Programme book nor in theAbstract book. Please use the following link for registration.


  1. On-line submission of abstracts for accepted papers to the Cambridge Sociological Abstracts website. Abstracts are only accepted by the system for those who are already registered for the Congress. Click here for the abstract submission.


Session Submission and Last Minutes Changes

The session submission link will remain open until March 3. Changes to already submitted sessions can also be made via Personal Page before this date. After March 3 the access will be closed.

A summary of all your submitted sessions will be sent to you in end of May. The access to the sessions on-line will once again be open and you will have until June 1 to make last minute changes.



The on-line programme will be available on the ISACongress website end of April.  

Audio Visual Information

PowerPoint projection will be available in all session halls. Computers [PC]will be provided onsite and all presentations should be brought on a USB-stick. Internet access is not available.
